AEH ARCHITECTURE
RECENT PROJECTS
2024
This recently completed small house embodies many of the design principles I see as essential; strong connections to its beautiful site, sunny living spaces, and a high performing building envelope. As both the architect and the general contractor for this project, it was a chance for me to test some new methodologies and systems.
2015
I built this studio on my farm in Waldoboro to house my design practice, experimenting with an insulated slab foundation, double sheathed ventilated roof, passive solar heating, and a careful attention to light.
2022
This screened sleeping cabin, built on the edge of a small pond, was framed, sheathed, and clad with locally sawn eastern white pine and rough sawn cedar.
